In 2014 Thomassen Holding acquired a 33% shareholding in TMMS a company which in line with the In Country Value (ICV) program is developing a 4700 sqm state of the art facility for the manufacture of switchgear as well as the repair of E-motors and generators at Nizwa Industrial Estate, Nizwa, Sultanate of Oman. The project initiative will supply electrical equipment to the power distribution network and also cater to the maintenance requirements of ageing rotating equipment in use with the various oil companies and other industrial facilities in the Sultanate.
